Responsibilities

1. Product Design: Responsible for the structural and industrial design of height adjustable desk hand controllers (handsets), including full-assembly styling, 3D component modeling, and 2D engineering drawing outputs, ensuring designs align with ergonomic, aesthetic, and functional specifications.

2. Architecture Layout: Lead structural design reviews and optimizations. Rationally plan the internal space and architecture by coordinating the layout of buttons, display screens, PCBs, and wire harnesses to guarantee assembly feasibility and mechanical reliability.

3. DFM & Injection Molding: Possess deep knowledge of injection mold tooling and design-for-manufacturing (DFM). Fully account for draft angles, wall thickness uniformity, parting lines, and gate placements during the design phase to avoid common defects such as sink marks, weld lines, or warping, ensuring designs are optimized for mass production.

4. Tooling Lifecycle Support: Partner with toolmakers to follow up on mold development, participate in mold design reviews, T1/T2 trial samplings, and structural debugging to drive smooth product migration from design to mass production.

5. Industry Preference: Candidates with prior successful portfolios in structural designs for home automation hand controllers, remote controls, or smart switch panels will be given priority.
